This is AI Robot from Taiwan scoring a basket as part of the HuroCup.
Basketball tests the ability of robots to move small objects with a high level of precision.
HuroCup robots use vision processing techniques to aim at the basket. In order to facilitate this, a white or orange table tennis ball is used, and the basket is always
red.
The robots recognise the different colours and shapes and use this information to calculate distances and then aim for the basket.
