Wampire - Chub Life
Wampire is a Portland-based five piece formed in 2007 by original members Rocky Tinder and Eric Phipps. After playing as a duo for a few years they wanted a fuller live sound and recently became a five-piece. Oregonian writer Jake Ten Pas recently described their sound as "a lo-fi mix of minimal, Krautrock-esque beats, Beach-Boys-meets-Animal-Collective vocal harmonies, 1980s electronics and the occasional, unexpectedly disarming ballad."
