Pampa was great. The location felt very home like with friendly staff. The chef at the restaurant was phenomenal, some of the best food in the area. In fact people from more expensive hotels were coming in to eat there..

We booked the Mountain View rooms and we were very satisfied. You can enjoy the mountain view from everywhere in the hotel from Lobby, Bar, Dining Room or even the indoor swimming pool, etc from dawn until dusk. The view here is even better than those hotels inside the Park which charge you a lot more with less services. Menu for both food and beverages have great variety with good quality that we still enjoyed them even on the fifth and last day. We also enjoyed the special event of "Patagonian Roast Lamb" very much and wished we could experience this more. We had the "all inclusive" package and it was really a worry-free one with very good lunch box and snack for you to hike.

Being the only room that is heated, all guests tended to hang around and socialize, and that was very nice. Most guests also cooked and had dinner together, which made the stay overall very pleasant. This is not possible in hotels, only in this “refugio style” model. The two lovely young women working there were always happy to help out, kept the fire going and provided advice and overall were very nice. Breakfast was fine.AstridYoung couple

Location perfect at the entrance to the park. We were even able to get petrol (very expensive)at the hotel to top us up for journey back to Calafate.

We were upgraded too, so no complaints! Good restaurant, lovely swimming pool...And if you get a packed lunch from them, the brownies are *amazing*!
