Getting around Gainesville is very easy.

Getting around Gainesville is very easy. There's lots to do there. We visited the Butterfly Exhibit but did not have enough time to see the Museum of Natural History or the Art Museum. No lack of dining options. We chose to dine at Carabbas and both the service and food didn't disappoint. Lots of places to shop. With the University of Florida located there, it provided for a very youthful environment which we totally enjoyed. This is a town worthy of a visit.

Loved university of FL! We went for a college tour. While our walking tour was cancelled due to rain, the students did an excellent job speaking and telling us about the highlights of the school. We were lucky to have spent time walking around the day before. It’s a beautiful school. Very impressed. Also….Sweet Pete’s candy shop was awesome!! So much fun to walk through a 3 story candy shop! Beautifully decorated for fall/Halloween! Yummy too! 😍

Very clean and well appointed hotel! Spacious rooms, exceptionally friendly staff, comfortable beds (being on the road for a couple days-this bed was a blessing!) and very nice breakfast with vegetarian/vegan AND gluten free options! (Not things I’m concerned about, but super nice for that lifestyle choice) 👍🏼😃. We did not use the pool, but it was clean and well tended. off I-75. Some road noise, but the convenience for travel and lots of food choices nearby made up for that minor detail.

Old noisy A/C , very humid smelly room. There were some bugs on floor, dirty and old bathrooms, spider nets on windows, dirty and old carpet etc Bathrooms need some remodeling too,p. Since this hotel allows dogs, which is great that is the reason we stayed here, we normally stay at Aloft in Gainesville, they also allow small dogs, this hotel should remove carpets in the rooms and leave just hard floors. It is cleaner and better.
