Overview: The Samsung Galaxy Watch4 Classic is a sleek smartwatch that does much more than tell you the time. It can help you track and reach fitness and health goals by monitoring your activity, sleep, and heart rate. The device has built-in 4G LTE wireless service. It also connects to your smartphone via Bluetooth or Wi-Fi for enhanced functionality through the Galaxy Wearable app. The built-in rechargeable battery lasts approximately 40 hours on a full charge. The Galaxy Watch4 Classic comes with a magnetic wireless charging pad, and is covered by a 1-year warranty.

Design: The Galaxy Watch4 Classic uses the Wear operating system and user interface with an Exynos W920 processor, 1.5GB RAM and 16GB internal memory. It has a 1.36" Super AMOLED color display with a resolution of 450 x 450 pixels (330 pixels per inch). The device features a black 46mm stainless steel case and a Gorilla Glass DX crystal lens, with a black 20mm (medium/large) sports band. On the back of the unit is a heart rate sensor with eight photodiodes that monitors your heart rate during exercise or for calculating your stress level. The watch also has an accelerometer, gyro, barometer, and ambient light sensor. The Watch4 Classic is water-resistant down to 5 meters depth (ATM5), so you can workout in bad weather or even wear the watch while swimming. The touchscreen responds best to a light touch from the pad of your finger, and recognizes tap, swipe (vertically or horizontally), rotate, and drag actions. Rechargeable Battery: The built-in 361mAh rechargeable battery gives you approximately 40 hours of battery life with typical use. The Watch4 Classic charges wirelessly on the included magnetic charging pad, which can be plugged into a USB port (Type A). No charging time data was given.

Wireless PowerShare: The Galaxy Watch4 Classic is compatible with Wireless PowerShare, which lets you charge the watch by placing it on the back of select Samsung smartphones. When the watch needs charging, it can charge wirelessly on the back of a Galaxy S20, S20+, S20 Ultra, Z Flip, and other Samsung smartphones. Wireless PowerShare is also possible with other Qi-enabled wireless charging devices.

4G LTE: This 4G LTE Galaxy Watch4 Classic comes with eSIM that allows you to stay connected when you're not near your phone or Wi-Fi. With 4G LTE, you can make and receive phone calls without your phone, plus install watch faces, apps, and reply to notifications without being connected to your phone via Bluetooth or to a local Wi-Fi network. LTE service is supported by the following carriers: AT&T, T-Mobile, US Cellular, and Verizon. A separate qualifying wireless plan may also be required.

Bluetooth / Wi-Fi / NFC: The Samsung Galaxy Watch4 Classic is equipped with Bluetooth version 5.0 for connecting the device to your smartphone, or to an optional headset for playing music. It also has Wi-Fi (2.4GHz and 5GHz) for connecting to a local wireless network. The watch can communicate with another device through Near Field Communication (NFC) without connecting to a network. This allows you to make payments or purchases through certain apps, like Samsung Pay.

Galaxy Wearable App: The Watch4 Classic works hand-in-hand with the Galaxy Wearable app on your smartphone. Using the app you can customize the look of the Watch4 Classic with over 50,000 watch faces with different colors, styles, and the amount of information displayed. The app also helps you locate your Watch4 Classic by making it light up and vibrate. The Galaxy Wearable app is compatible with Android devices 4.3 and up. For iPhone (iOS 9.0 or later), you should download the Galaxy Watch app.

Wear OS: The Samsung Galaxy Watch4 Classic is the first smartwatch powered by the Wear Operating System by Samsung, which gives you access to all of your favorite apps on your wrist. This includes Google services and apps, a wide selection of music streaming app, and a huge library of health and fitness apps. Wear OS by Samsung also pulls all of your Samsung Galaxy devices together, including Galaxy Buds2.

Health & Fitness: The Galaxy Watch4 Classic helps you to reach your health and fitness goals by tracking your body composition data and coordinate your workouts. Samsung's new BioActive Sensor gives you a BIA (Bio-electrical Impedance Analysis) measurement which analyzes your body composition--the amount of body fat to lean body mass--to help you manage your health goals. The BioActive Sensor can also measure your ECG in real time so you can detect abnormal heart rates or rhythms. The data can be sent directly to a compatible Galaxy phone and shared with your doctor, if needed. The watch also helps you track your activities, count your steps, check your calories. More than 90 exercises are supported and analyzed to provide fitness scores at the end of your workout. Some activities can be tracked with other individuals so that you can compete with them in the same activity, and send encouraging messages. Galaxy Watch4 Classic also adds Advanced Run Coaching and VO2 Max readings to help you track your cardio levels.

Sleep Management: The watch can track and analyze your sleep cycles to help you get a better night's rest. While you sleep, the watch tracks how long it takes you to fall asleep, how long you spend in the various sleep stages, and the overall sleep time. Galaxy Watch4 Classic can check your blood oxygen levels, and detect whether or not you are snoring.
