Our award-winning seating solutions are developed from consumer research, finding the ease of operation to be comfortable, convenient and connected.<br /><br />Role Summary<br /><br />Under the direction of the Assistant Materials Manager, coordinates Service Parts delivery activities for the manufacturing plant including Bill of Material (BOM) releases; pulls material parts for weekly orders; packaging, labeling, and generating shipping documents; verifying Advanced Shipping Notification (ASN's); and monitoring customer's scorecard to achieve 100% on time delivery.<br /><br />Key Responsibilities<br /><br />* <li><br />* <li>Supports customers' service goals and objectives by meeting the "Planning for Service" requirements.<br /><br /><br /><br />* Ensures the successful transition from high volume production requirements to low volume past model service requirements.<br />* Navigates through Customer Service planning systems and inputs BOM structures that will be produced by MSD.<br />* Pulls, packages and labels material parts.<br />* Generates and maintain an 862-ship schedule.<br />* Generates shipping paperwork/documents (i.e., packing slips) and ensures ASN accuracy.<br />* Monitors the customer's scorecard; and researches and resolves the validity of violations issued to MSD's supplier code.<br />* Submits obsolete claims through the customer claim process.<br />* Provides guidance and direction to the Assistant Service Parts Coordinator.<br />* Displays a positive attitude towards safety, works safely and follows all the Company's safety policies and procedures.<br /><br />Key Qualifications/Requirements<br /><br />* High School diploma or equivalent.<br />* Minimum of two (2) years of experience in materials, logistics, supply chain management or related position in a tier-one automotive manufacturing facility.<br /><br />Additional Information<br /><br />* Good written and verbal communication skills.<br />* Team oriented, communicates well with others and able to interact with people at all levels and departments.<br />* Detailed oriented.<br />* Good problem resolution skills.<br />* Working knowledge of Excel, Word, PowerPoint and MRP.<br /><br />Awareness.
