Caught is a Canadian crime drama television series, which debuted on CBC Television on February 26, 2018. Based on the critically acclaimed thriller novel by Lisa Moore, Caught is about a drug dealer who, with the help of a corrupt cop, makes a daring jailbreak from a New Brunswick prison in 1978, and travels across the globe to hunt down his drug king-pin ex-partner. Allan Hawco (Republic of Doyle) was presented with the story by eOne's Tecca Crosby (SVP, Scripted Development) and was eager to take on the project due to its rich story and characters. The series was produced by Take The Shot with CBC in Canada, with distribution handled by eOne.

Krystin Pellerin stars as Constable/Sergeant Leslie Bennett, with Mark O'Brien as Desmond "Des" Courtney, who works with the Doyles, and Marthe Bernard as Katrina "Tinny" Doyle, Jake's niece and Malachy's granddaughter. Their cases involve them in all sorts of dealings – not all of them on the right side of the law.

It returned to a half-hour for the 2012–13 season and moved to 7:00 p.m. (replacing Wheel of Fortune), along with a late-night encore that moved to 11:30 p.m. due to the expansion of late local news at several of the CBC's major market stations. The show concluded at the end of the 2013–2014 season as Stroumboulopoulos moved to Rogers Communications to host Hockey Night in Canada.
