Britney Jean is the eighth studio album recorded by American …
Britney Jean is the eighth studio album recorded by American singer Britney Spears, serving as the singer's second eponymous record after Britney (2001); though the album's name refers to both her first and middle names. The album was made available for music download on December 3, 2013 by RCA Records. It marks Spears' first major activity since the dissolution of her long-time record label, Jive Records, in 2011. The singer began recording material for Britney Jean in May 2013, eventually continuing into October of that year. On numerous occasions, Spears has described the album as the most personal record from her catalog. Having assumed an integral position in its production, she co-wrote each track and collaborated with songwriters and producers including Sia and will.i.am to achieve her desired sound. Furthermore, the record features guest vocals from Spears' sister Jamie Lynn, T.I., and will.i.am.

Femme Fatale is the seventh studio album recorded by American singer Britney Spears. It was released on March 25, 2011 through Jive Records and was her last album with the label before they shutdown later that year as she was moved to RCA Records. Musically, Spears wanted to make a "fresh-sounding" and "fierce dance album", thus incorporating dance-pop, electropop, EDM, and synth-pop styles with elements of dubstep, techno, and electro in its sound. Spears began working on the album during the second leg of her tour The Circus Starring Britney Spears (2009), while also contributing to her second greatest hits album The Singles Collection (2009). The singer collaborated with various producers on Femme Fatale, including Max Martin, Dr. Luke, William Orbit, Fraser T Smith, Rodney Jerkins, Bloodshy & Avant, will.i.am, and Stargate.

Circus is the sixth studio album by American singer Britney Spears. It was released on November 28, 2008 through Jive Records. Looking to transition from her "darker and more urban" fifth studio album Blackout (2007), Spears wanted to make her next project "a little bit lighter". She recorded the album during the summer of 2008, after her much-publicized personal struggles saw her placement under a temporary conservatorship earlier that year. As executive producers, Larry Rudolph and Teresa LaBarbera Whites enlisted collaborators including Spears' longtime colleague Max Martin and Nate "Danja" Hills.

Blackout is the fifth studio album by American singer Britney Spears. It was released on October 30, 2007, by Jive Records. It was originally scheduled to be released on November 13 in the United States, but was rush-released after being leaked online. The album was recorded between 2006 and 2007, during which time Spears' personal struggles and erratic behavior were highly publicized and overshadowed her professional projects. Spears collaborated with producers including Danja, Bloodshy & Avant, Sean Garrett, and The Neptunes. Blackout is a primarily dance-pop and electropop record with Euro disco and dubstep influences; lyrical themes revolve around love, fame, media scrutiny, sex, and clubbing. The project features a more foreboding and atmospheric tone compared to Spears' previous albums.

Britney is the third studio album by American singer Britney Spears. It was released on November 5, 2001 in the United States through Jive Records. Looking to transition from the teen pop styles of her earlier albums ...Baby One More Time (1999) and Oops!... I Did It Again (2000), Spears began to embrace a significantly more mature sound with Britney. Its music incorporates genres of pop and R&B with influences of dance and occasionally dips into elements of disco, hip hop, rock, and electronica. Its lyrics address the subjects of reaching adulthood and sexuality. Contributions to its production came from a variety of collaborators, including Max Martin and Rami Yacoub. Spears herself assumed a more prominent role in the album's development, co-writing six of its tracks.

Oops!... I Did It Again is the …
Oops!... I Did It Again is the second studio album by American singer Britney Spears. It was released on May 16, 2000 in the United States through Jive Records. Its music incorporates pop, dance-pop, and teen pop styles, much in the vein of her debut studio album ...Baby One More Time (1999). The album also explores a more funkier and R&B sound, while Spears also covers the Rolling Stones' "(I Can't Get No) Satisfaction" and the Jets' "You Got It All" (the latter was included only on the Asian editions of the album). Contributions to the album's production came from a wide range of producers, including Max Martin, Rami Yacoub, Per Magnusson, David Kreuger, Kristian Lundin, Jake Schulze, Darkchild, and Robert John "Mutt" Lange.

...Baby One More Time is the …
...Baby One More Time is the debut studio album by American singer Britney Spears. It was released on January 12, 1999 through Jive Records. In June 1997, while Spears negotiated with her manager at the time, Lou Pearlman, to join female pop group Innosense, her mother, Lynne Spears, asked a family friend and entertainment lawyer, Larry Rudolph, for his opinion. Rudolph took interest and decided to pitch her to record labels. Rudolph submitted a tape of Britney Spears singing over a Whitney Houston karaoke song, along with a demo tape of an unused song from Toni Braxton. Jive Records was interested and appointed the singer to work with producer Eric Foster White. After hearing the recorded material, Jive signed Spears to a multi-album deal.
