Case is the self-titled debut album by American R&B singer and songwriter Case. Released on August 13, 1996, by Def Jam Recordings. The album peaked at number seven on the Top R&B Albums chart and reached number forty-two on the US Billboard 200 album chart. Case was supported by four singles including "More to Love" and "Touch Me, Tease Me" (featuring Foxy Brown and Mary J. Blige) which became the album's most successful single on the Billboard Hot 100, peaking at number fourteen, and later certified gold by the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA). In a 2020 interview with BET, Case remarked that he disliked recording the album and admitted he did not have a lot of creative freedom within the album. As of 2019, the album has sold 170,000 copies.

In 2018, the series returned on Fox with Steve Harvey hosting. The show features live performances from both professional and up-and-coming artists, and also features the Amateur Night competition made popular at the famous Apollo Theater in the Harlem neighborhood of Manhattan in New York City, where the show is recorded. The series was rebooted as Apollo Live and hosted by comedian Tony Rock. In many cities such as New York (where it aired on WNBC), it often aired after Saturday Night Live on early Sunday mornings, and was often paired with the similarly-syndicated Soul Train.
