It stars Akkineni Nageswara Rao, Vanisri, Shobhan Babu in the lead roles and music composed by K. V. Mahadevan. The film is a remake of the Kannada movie Kappu Bilupu (1969), and later was also remade in Tamil as Irulum Oliyum (1971).
