A Night Out

After living a stifling life with a reserved husband, Granmum …
After living a stifling life with a reserved husband, Granmum decides to enjoy a night out in the company of her two cheerful grandsons at the Three Lights cafe, where she reads pulp novels and learns how to tango from Jeff, the cafe owner. All three try to avoid the overbearing Mrs. Haslem, who is Granmum's daughter and mother to the two boys. Granmum realizes that both her grandsons are in love and decides to award a ring to the first one to marry, but the ring is stolen. During a police raid, it is revealed that the Purity League president's son stole the ring to give to a dancer at the cafe. Granmum forgives the thief and announces her own engagement to Jeff as well as those of her two grandsons.
