Battlestars is an American game show that aired on NBC during the 1980s. The program's concept was developed and produced by Merrill Heatter, featuring a six-celebrity panel. The object of the game is to "capture" the celebrities by lighting up numbers positioned around triangle shapes, inside of which sat each panelist. Similar to Hollywood Squares, which Heatter also co-created and produced, the celebrities are asked questions by the host, and the contestants judge the truth of their answers in order to light up the numbers.

Barth was purportedly the twin brother of Garth Gimble from Mary Hartman.

Another is Jim Paine, who middle aged Marvin Hocker tries unsuccessfully to pass off as his nephew, the two of them who are planning to travel to Rome for the holidays, with everyone knowing Jim is a gay-for-pay hustler and Marvin his latest sugar daddy. As many men hope that tonight will be a special night in achieving their dreams - or at least one dream within many they may have - they have to face the reality that there will be an end to the evening and an outside world to where they will return.
