Despite her money, she is never happy, and she learns that nothing she buys will ever put a never ending smile on her big face. With Swept Away, Amber gets a little bit of trouble to help change her attitude towards life. Amber's husband is the man behind the wealth, having given Amber everything without much respect or love. To make himself look good in her eyes and gain at least some respect, he ends up taking her on a cruise to Italy. She ends up not enjoying the entire vacation and even gets bored with what his original plan was of going on a basic and boring cruise. They find life to be quite annoying, and Amber decides to take her anger on the ship's first mate. After a series of events, she ends up wrecked at a deserted island with the ship mate. Just like any other person, they thought nobody would ever catch them, so they end up falling in love with each other. They discover their love for one another and even do things together that Amber would have never done with her real husband who had all the money. She falls in love with this new guy feeling that nothing can ever get in her way since she is on an island that nobody seems to know about. Amber is a girl who loves advancement and trying out newer and better things. Because of her newfound man who loves to do weird things, she finds his love intriguing and his life interesting compared to when she was with her husband. All sorts of funny things take place throughout the story which make Amber even more confused with her life.
