Comedy Bang! Bang! is a television series created and hosted by Scott Aukerman. The show aired weekly on IFC and was a spin-off of Aukerman's podcast Comedy Bang! Bang!, which airs on the Earwolf network. Like the podcast, the series featured outlandish and farcical humor, often delivered in a deadpan manner. The mock talk show derived most of its comedy from its surreal spoofs of common late night tropes and from its characters' ineptitude.

Human Giant is a sketch comedy show, starring writer/performers Aziz Ansari, Rob Huebel, and Paul Scheer, and directed primarily by Jason Woliner. The show ran for two seasons on MTV. In interviews, the group has mentioned that they were offered a third season by MTV but were unable to complete it due to Ansari's commitments to the hit NBC show Parks and Recreation, while Ansari mentioned on Howard Stern that the show's end was more because it is hard to keep a sketch show consistently funny over several seasons. However, the group has stated that MTV has left the door open for the group to complete a third season at a later date or to produce a special for the network. In 2010, Ansari, Huebel and Scheer reunited to do a skit for the 2010 MTV Movie Awards.

The Comedians of Comedy is the Comedy Central series that follows famous alternative stand up comedians Patton Oswalt, Zach Galifianakis, Brian Posehn and Maria Bamford, as they hit the road for a six-city tour. The comedians visit Baltimore, New York City, Philadelphia, Atlantic City, Boston, and Martha's Vineyard, and show the best of their acts and the antics on tour. The group has been performing since 2004, when they shot their documentary film The Comedians of Comedy, where they toured playing small indie rock venues like anti-comic Neil Hamburger pioneered. The documentary was directed by Michael Blieden, and in 2005 Comedy Central commissioned a six-episode television series that Blieden also directed. The show follows the four hilarious comedians as they joke onstage and off, letting us into their daily lives as they buy comic books, get into trouble in the Cracker Barrel gift shop, and have plenty of other antics as they goof off between shows. Join the ride as these four rebels of stand up hit the road in Comedy Central's Comedians of Comedy.

Last Call with Carson Daly is an American late-night entertainment program that was broadcast by NBC from 2002 to 2019 as part of its late-night lineup. Hosted by former MTV personality Carson Daly, the series was initially formatted as a studio-based late-night talk show similar to its lead-ins The Tonight Show and Late Night (although not as strongly-focused on comedy). In 2009, Last Call dropped its talk show format, in favor of featuring interviews (primarily with musicians, entertainers, actors, filmmakers, and other artists) and entertainment performances filmed on-location. Unlike other programs in NBC's late night lineup, Last Call typically recorded only 24 weeks of original shows a year with the rest of the year being taken up by reruns.
