The original concept and artwork were created by Michael Jupp and the series was written by Sue Radley and Martin Gates. MGP famous for producing, after The Dreamstone, Wildit, Bimble's Bucket, and others. All the current distribution rights for the Martin Gates catalogue is owned by Monster Entertainment.
