Frontier Doctor is an American Western television series starring Rex Allen that aired in syndication from September 26, 1958, until June 20, 1959. The series was also known as Unarmed and Man of the West. Outdoor action sequences for most episodes of Frontier Doctor were filmed on the Republic Pictures backlot in Studio City and on the Iverson Movie Ranch in Chatsworth, California, known for its huge sandstone boulders and widely recognized as the most heavily filmed outdoor shooting location in the history of Hollywood.

This Is Your Life was an American reality documentary series broadcast on NBC radio from 1948 to 1952, and on NBC television from 1952 to 1961. It was originally hosted by its creator and producer Ralph Edwards. In the program, the host would surprise guests and then take them through a retrospective of their lives in front of an audience, including appearances by colleagues, friends, and family. Edwards revived the show in 1971–1972, and Joseph Campanella hosted a version in 1983. Edwards returned for some specials in the late 1980s, before his death in 2005.

Bill Rourk, an ex-Coast Guard crew chief, is tricked into volunteering for the Coact Guard Officer's Training School, following the Japanese sneak-attack on Pearl Harbor on December 7, 1941. Rourk's preference would be to keep the higher-paying and more-secure job in a civilian shipyard. Coadt Guard Commander McFarland first meets Rourk at the shipyard and, later, is his superior officer at the officer's-training-school. Rourk fails to get his Ensign's commission, and then finds he has been assigned to McFarland's command at sea. Matters are not helped any by both men being rivals for Louise Ryan, the admiral's daughter.

Rancher William Norton (Edward LeSaint) refuses to sell his cattle for half price, so saloon owner and gang leader Jim Fletcher (Dick Curtis), contrary to the orders from his secret boss Willard McGowan (Robert Warwick), the town banker, has his men rob and beat up Norton. Unknown to anyone, Marion (Iris Meredith), McGowan's adopted daughter is really the daughter of Norton, who disappeared as a young baby when she and her mother were passengers on a stagecoach held up by McGowan. Chuck Saunders (Charles Starrett), Norton's foreman, goes after the gang for robbing his boss and eventually uncovers the truth regarding Marion's heritage. Unable to pay her notes, Ann Bradford, owner of the Circle C, decides to auction off a half-interest in her ranch. Matt Stark, a crooked land dealer, holds Ann's notes. His efforts to buy the ranch have been refused and his instructs his henchman, Barlow, and his other henchmen to make certain that nobody bids on the ranch. Clint Buckley rides into town on the day of the auction, overhears Stark's instructions to his henchies, and decides to attend the sale. Barlow attempts to intimidate him, they fight, Buckley wins and his bid of $25,000 wins him a half-interest in the Circle C. But, Stark, isn't finished yet in his efforts to get the ranch, especially since a couple of his hirelings are on the Circle C payroll.
