The Rotten Tomatoes Show

The Rotten Tomatoes is a …
The Rotten Tomatoes is a movie review television show airing on Current TV from the highly-regarded review aggregation website RottenTomatoes.com. The show is co-hosted by Brett Erlich and Ellen Fox, who present the segments and also contribute to the movie reviews. Each show features long reviews of three of the most notable releases of the week. Movie critics and fans chime in with their views on what parts of the film are successful and what parts sink with funny barbs thrown in throughout. Each film is also given a Tomato Meter rating, based on a consolidation of the movie's reviews by film critics from the Rotten Tomatoes website. In addition to reviews of films out in theaters, the show reviews movie previews in a segment called “The Anticipation”, based on the trailers and the actors and filmmakers involved. The show also features several other features such as top 5 lists of various movie themes like “Top 5 Video Game Movie.” The show takes the classic Siskel and Ebert style of movie review shows and tweaks it for a younger audience by making it less stodgy and bringing in humor that fans of the movies and RottenTomatoes.com will enjoy. Don't go to the movies without knowing if the film got the dreaded Rotten Review!

Swoff and his fellow Marines sustain themselves with sardonic humanity and wicked comedy on blazing desert fields in a country they don't understand against an enemy they can't see for a cause they don't fully fathom... Sergeant Sykes is a Marine lifer who heads up Swofford's scout/sniper platoon, while Troy is Swoff's friend and mentor, a die-hard member of STA - their elite Marine Unit.

The Wonderful World of …
The Wonderful World of Disney finally returned in September of 1997 - bringing an entirely new batch of Disney family films. In the traditions of the old classics, Disney is trying to recreate the feel good image. Hosted again by Michael Eisner, this series has featured everything from true life stories to revamped musicals - occasionally gaining ABC some of its highest ratings in recent years. The one flaw - it is not on every week - being preempted for sports, theatrical movies and even some non-Disney films, although some non-Disney movies are now starting to air under the T.W.W.O.D. banner. Many of the movies are simulcast in HDTV. With this series, Disney revamped its home movie industry and a lot of these titles became available for purchase on VHS and/or DVD. The series has been on the air since 1954. Disneyland is the original name of The Wonderful World Of Disney.
