The anime began airing on Fuji TV's Noitamina block on July 10, 2014, and its final episode aired on September 25, 2014. In total, it was made up of 11 episodes. Funimation acquired North American streaming rights and released an English dub on DVD on January 19, 2016. Anime Limited and Madman Entertainment acquired streaming rights for the UK and Australia, respectively. Funimation premiered the series at Anime Expo on July 5, 2014.

Originally announced in a teaser at the end of the film Kamen Rider W Forever: A to Z/The Gaia Memories of Fate, film was released in Japan on December 18, 2010. Actor Tarō Yamamoto guest stars in the film as the former partner of Sokichi Narumi, Koji Kikkawa reprising his role as the character. Both Kikkawa and Maki Ohguro are tied to a theme song (and music video) for the film, recording the song "HEART∞BREAKER" under the band name "DaiKichi" (DaiKichi~大吉~). This movie is didn't fit the continuity while W take place after the final episode until Eiji used Tajador Combo again. The suit of Kamen Rider Birth made its debut in the films.

When the Ham-Hams build a sand castle and recite a spell as it is written in the book they are whooshed to the Kingdom, where they run into old enemies and new ones and have to save the princess.
