The Bob Kerrey Pedestrian Bridge is a 3,000-foot footbridge across the Missouri River between Council Bluffs, Iowa, and Omaha, Nebraska. It opened on September 28, 2008.

The view was amazing and it was great fun to walk between two states. The bridge is well maintained and the parks are beautiful especially on the Omaha side of the bridge. Full review by findjoy

It takes less than 20 minutes to walk across and less than 10 minutes to cycle across (and of course similar time to return). You'll want to stop for views/photos halfway across. There's a sculpture garden on the Iowa side and the bridge troll on the Omaha side. 30-60 minutes at the most, depending on whether you're on foot or bicycle.

On the Omaha side: There is a free parking lot at the riverboat. Use Maps and type in Miller’s Landing or River City Star and follow the driving directions to park your vehicle. Then …

On the Omaha side: There is a free parking lot at the riverboat. Use Maps and type in Miller’s Landing or River City Star and follow the driving directions to park your vehicle. Then walk the paved sidewalk South to the bridge. Note: during covid, there are closures along Freedom Park Road to the North and at Heartland of America to the South. Your best bet is the riverboat landing.
