I'm not sure exactly as to which historical exhibit you are referring to. The Memorial Chamber, on the 14th floor (which is the top floor), where you can see all over Lincoln is still there. Also, so is the library that holds quite a bit of history and the Capitol gift shop. From what I can recall, they have not taken or removed anything from the Nebraska State Capitol.
