The Nevada State Railroad Museum in Boulder City offers excursion train rides on Saturdays and Sundays, throughout the year, Regular Train Schedule: Saturday's & Sunday's 10:00 AM, 11:30 AM, 1:00 PM, 2:30 PM The train departs from the Boulder City Depot of the Nevada Southern Railway Museum and travels seven miles round trip along the historic Boulder Branch Line to Railroad Pass, located within the River Mountain Range. The trip is approximately 45 minutes in duration. You will ride in refurbished, enclosed, air-conditioned/heated Pullman coaches which date back to 1911. We also have an open-air coach and an ADA/handicapped coach with a lift for wheelchairs or passengers needing additional assistance boarding. During the trip, you will hear a narration about the history behind the train, the tracks and the surrounding area.
