San Diego is a great city to explore. It has beaches, nice coastlines and lots of history! Exploring nearby towns was very enjoyable. La Jolla was a blast!!! Full review by valeriesE7481XG

You have gotten good advice, but I would add Little Italy. Fun shops, lots of food options, and Ballast Point brew pub if you like great beer. Get a map that has the public transportation. There are 3 train lines that get you all over the city and it's easy to use. A day pass is about $7 and pays for itself in 4 trips. Unless you are driving there, I recommend not having a car. Parking is tough and expensive. Have fun!
