This place is fantastic. It would be best seen in Spring, Sumer & Fall, but we enjoyed the gardens even without pretty plants on display. The grounds were beautiful to walk along the meandering path… Full review by here2help

What a wonderful "Holiday Season Light Experience" Well organized from start to finish. By allowing only so many per hour it is not crowded but relaxing and enjoyable. Full review by VicL397

33 Acres of Formal Gardens
Step into 33 acres of formal gardens, wildflower-spangled meadows, native Texas vegetation, and a "touch and smell" garden specially designed for blind people. Among the gardens are older flower varieties, an extensive rose garden, and a Japanese garden. The centerpiece is the Halsell Conservatory, a 90,000-square-foot structure composed of seven tall glass spires. A self-guided tour of the climate-controlled conservatory takes visitors through the plants and flowers found in different environments around the world, from desert to tropics. The conservatory sits partially underground for a cooling effect in the hot Texas summers—a definite draw!
