Great place to get fairly close to a working ancient dig. They have regular supervised tours that take you to the dig where they are excavating the bones of many ancient creatures. There is a catw… Full review by Nomad_LA

1 hour or less. It’s not a huge place but it is very cool.

no trails. In fact normally you must go with a group and guide from ticket office to fossil center.
