Beautiful park with extensive well groomed walking/running paths. We even saw people fishing here. A bit of information on Washington state fish hatcheries. Full review by iTraveltheworld195

Hi. I'll be in Bellingham for part of a day & love the photos of Whatcom Falls, so I want to see it (them?) in person. When I look at pdf maps of the parks (is there more than one with falls?) and the trails from the Bellingham Trail Guide website, I can't tell where the falls are. Can you help? Where exactly should we park for the falls? Which trail should we take to reach the falls? Anything else I should know before going?
A:
The trails are marked so follow the one for the falls. You may have time to walk several trails. If I remember correctly, parking is mostly by the trails.
Q:
Is there a nice place in the park to sit and read a book?
A:
Yes, there are benches by the youth fishing pond or you could find a quiet spot under a tree.
Q:
About how long does it take to get around the park if we were to stick to the main trail area and view the falls?
A:
you can do in as little as 10 minutes. the falls are right off the parking lot. if you follow the trails you can walk for as long as you'd like.
