Hidden in the Turkey River valley, the Motor Mill Historic Site is a peaceful natural area that features a six-story limestone flouring mill and four related stone buildings dating from the late 1860’s. Guided tours of historic Motor Mill are offered Noon-5:00 PM every weekend Memorial Day Weekend through Labor Day Weekend. Fall: Open every other weekend until the second weekend in October. Primitive camping is available for $15.00 per night, there are 5 campsites. Reserve online at mycountyparks. com or in person at the campground. Clayton County Conservation hosts the annual Motor Mill Trail Run 5k/10k trail race in March which takes runners on the trails at Motor Mill.
