    Godman Guard Station, built in the 1930s, sits just outside the impressive Wenaha-Tucannon Wilderness. The complex is adjacent to a historic Civilian Conservation Corps campground. Horseback riding and hiking trails into the wilderness are easily accessed from the cabin.

    • Directions: From Dayton, take 4th street south for 6 blocks, and turn east on Eckler Mountain Road for about 15 miles. Turn right at the Y intersection.
