Albright, West Virginia

Albright is a town in central Preston County, West Virginia, United States, along the Cheat River. The population was 260 at the 2020 census. Albright was incorporated in 1914. The town derives its name from David Albright, an early settler. The 1985 Election Day floods of the Cheat River wiped out most structures in the town.
