Kittanning Township is a township in Armstrong County, Pennsylvania, United States. The population was 2,019 at the 2020 census, a decrease from the figure of 2,265 tabulated in 2010. Kittanning Township is located in central Armstrong County several miles east of the Allegheny River and does not border the borough of Kittanning, the county seat.
