Ranger is an unincorporated community in Gordon County, Georgia, United States. The population was 107 at the 2020 census, down from 131 in 2010. A post office called Ranger has been in operation since 1891. It is uncertain whether the town was named after Ranger, North Carolina, or the Confederate rangers.
