It is located along U.S. Route 165, 2 miles west of Allport and 3 miles west of Humnoke. It is 2 miles east of the town of Coy and 6 miles east of the city of England. It is 36 miles southeast of Little Rock via Highway 165. The name was collected by the United States Geological Survey between 1976 and 1980, and entered into the Geographic Names Information System on April 30, 1980. The community is served by the National Weather Service Forecast Office in North Little Rock.
