The Toltec Mounds Archeological State Park was very interesting. We enjoyed the short movie. I wish it wouldn't have been so hot so we could have walked the trail. Full review by Dianna P

A lot of reading but so worth the stop. We were a little underwhelmed by the number of mounds and a little sad that a couple of them had been destroyed. But we were glad they had know worked on keepi… Full review by tinkerbsb

I was underwhelmed. While we enjoyed walking the two trails (which crossed each other several times) & reading the plaques & pamphlets along the way, I was completely surprised at the lack of definit… Full review by Kates9999

There are not any opportunities to fish in Mound Lake from the park. The archeological site is protected and those protections extend all the way to the bank of the lake. Other nearby …

There are not any opportunities to fish in Mound Lake from the park. The archeological site is protected and those protections extend all the way to the bank of the lake. Other nearby public fishing opportunities are available at Willow Beach.

It's wheel chair accessible but don't know if they have them, ask them they're great people ....

How much walking is ivolved if you just want to see the mounds
A:
There is a 3/4 mile barrier-free trail and a 1.6 mile turf trail. Both are super easy and a great way to see the entire mound site.
