Bastrop State Park is a state park in Bastrop County in Central Texas. The park was established in 1938 and consists of stands of loblolly pines mixed with post oak and junipers.

Went to park as passing through area on a Texas park. I would only recommend going to work for walking if you are going by and won't recommend going out of the way for it. Did one trail (Co 1805/OL… Full review by jeff77664

The park is wonderful for hikes. The campsites are dreadful and would never stay there again. Good place for a day visit but don’t waste your time staying here Full review by AdrianH1212

Although we only went to Bastrop State Park for hiking it looked like there was a little lake as part of the park. Oh course you can always go on-line to double check. Much of the park was ruined but the fires however they have done a great job as the camping areas really looked clean and well maintained. Although I cannot give you an absolutely positive answer I think you could have a nice time fishing from the shore in the park.
