The five stars are for the preservation of this unique ecosystem - wetlands in the middle of the desert. Our experience was closer to four stars. We arrived around 10AM and didn't see much wildlife. … Full review by Elisa P

We went for the festival of the cranes but there weren't any, there was hardly anything. Went further to the Birds of Bernardo and found everything there. The Bosque was a huge disappointment. Eve… Full review by Ln L

Are the sandhill cranes still in the Bosque, now MID-february?
There are still small flocks but will be moving soon. Refuge staff can give you updates as well as on line
