The Bosque del Apache National Wildlife Refuge is located in southern New Mexico. It was founded in 1939 and is administered by the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service.

The five stars are for the preservation of this unique ecosystem - wetlands in the middle of the desert. Our experience was closer to four stars. We arrived around 10AM and didn't see much wildlife. … Full review by Elisa P
