The walk down to the lighthouse was fairly easy and enjoyable. But the walk back is all uphill so be ready! This was a short visit as there wasn't a lot to see. No whales visible when we were there. Full review by Kim C

The lighthouse is short walk from the parking lot. Important to note that the walk back is up with somewhat steep hill. The views from the viewing areas on the way down are very pretty too. Full review by A S

A must see, a little out of the way but you won’t be sorry. There was a volunteer there showing baby birds in the rocks, stunning site. The view was amazing and weather PERFECT! Full review by 2013TravelinFool

The Parking lot and grounds and the lower level of the Lighthouse are all Handicap Accessible...however, the upper levels of the lighthouse, because of the nature of how they are constructed involves the use of a narrow spiral staircase which would NOT be accessible.... In fact, now that the subject has come up, I do not believe any of the some 20 or thirty lighthouses we have visited in the US so far have been completely handicap accessible for the same reason stated above....
Q:
What are the hours of operation tomorrow, Feb 3,2016?
A:
the gift shop is closed but the park is open daylight hours, which includes a restroom, trails and many photo opportunities
Q:
Is there a charge to go through the lighthouse?
A:
No charge. Donations accepted.
Q:
How far is the walk from the parking lot to the lighthouse as my husband uses a cane. Thanks!
A:
GoogleMaps shows very good detail. Approx 300yds on blacktop with benches along the way. There is gradual but constant decline in elevation on way to lighthouse.
