It was awesome. Many small water spots to go in and sit on rocks. We went all the way to the top. A few areas were a little difficult to climb, but only because I sm short, (5’2”), and 65, but did it. Full review by Geraldine B

The Catwalk Trail is about 1.5 - 2 miles long. It makes a loop along both sides of the creek. The first part is actually paved and wheelchair accessible and is very easy to walk. This is where the catwalks are located. If you head back at the turnaround point and go on the other side of the creek, it is an improved trail but is not paved. Not very strenuous. You can go beyond the turnaround point on a trail IS more strenuous, with creek crossings and a few rocks to climb over and around. If you do a search on Catwalk National Recreation Area, you will find lots of information.
