City of Rocks State Park is a state park in New Mexico, consisting of large sculptured rock formations in the shape of pinnacles or boulders rising as high as 40 feet.
Bizarre place - massive boulders that you can climb all over and camp in between. Great views and beautiful at sunset (although it clouded over when we were there). Full review by rzandc

Awesome and totally unexpected. Smaller than Garden of Gods in Colorado but just as interesting. Have fun naming g the rock formations. Full review by LightPacker779670

Amazing how this place was created. Very cool how these rocks are standing. We hiked around for about 2 hours. I recommend checking it out. Full review by 818daphneg
