Nice, quick side drive off of the Grand Loop Road. We were fortunate to see one of the geysers erupt. There was hardly anyone there in mid-October, it was wonderful! Full review by MinnesotaMidwestgirl

This is a one way drive that takes you to some great geyser. We had the good fortune of seeing the cone geyser (White Dome I think.) go off. Excellent drive a little off the main road. Full review by 577SusanH

Sorry, Betty, I just got this, The boardwalk is very short, years ago there was a trail back from there for some distance but that is were the extremophiles were found for research and it is now closed. There are two boardwalks at the end, left and right, do both. Say 10 minutes each? Many buffalo in the spring. But before you go that far be sure to stop on the left as you drive in to see the bubbles rise from the Firehole pool, before you get to Great Fountain.
