We look forward to having you come visit! The longhouse reopens every May 1 through October 31. We remove all the objects for storage and safekeeping during the months we are closed to keep them in good condition as the longhouse is unheated. Please know that there is a scaled down version of it in our Seneca Art & Culture Center, along with many other fascinating exhibits. We have a new exhibit opening on March 24 as well!
Q:
Is this place stroller friendly? Should I use my baby carrier instead?
A:
The museum is wheelchair accessible, and there are accessible trails outside to the longhouse. So a stroller should be fine.
