Questions & answers

Q:
About how much time should a person plan to spend here? We will have 2 children, ages 9 and 6 with us.
A:
I'd suggest speaking with one of the park rangers at the visitor center to find trails and activities that would be suitable and safe for your children. Be sure to bring water and sun screen.
Q:
What is the closest spot to spend the night in a hotel or cabin?
A:
We stayed in Alpine and drove there. It was a pleasant drive there and we got to visit the restaurants and brewery in the town.
