Worth a little time to visit this historic area. You can walk right down to the river. See, hear, and feel the water that will flow through the Grand Canyon. Full review by 721henrya

Beautiful and peaceful river. Lots of fisherman. My husband and I took our camp chairs and hung out and listened to the beautiful sound of the river as the sun set. Full review by Nicco L

There was a self-pay station, we did not have to pay as we have an annual National Parks pass. I do not remember the fee for a single visit to Lees Ferry. It is pretty over there, so worth to go. We even drove up from the North Rim Grand Canyon. Do not miss the condors under the Navajo Bridge, next turn on the Highway.

Hi, we are planning on having a fashion shoot around AZ, do you think this is allowed in Lees Ferry?
A:
I do not know what regulations might apply to your proposed photo shoot. I suggest you contact the National Park Service for an accurate answer.

l agree with "rilart" above - once you're past Navajo bridge downstream from Lees Ferry you enter Marble Canyon with no viable takeouts. Probably best to start near Glen Canyon dam and takeout at Lees Ferry. Finally, you need to check the GC NRA ranger station to verify if any permits are required for paddle boards.
