The hike to Bear Gulch reservoir was fun, especially climbing around the rocks and up the waterfall at the end. We also took an easy walk along the roads. But unless you are going to camp or take one… Full review by FAFNAR

According to the official site, the Current Fire Danger is "MODERATE. Wood and charcoal fires on grills and designated areas are permitted." This info is found at the official Nat'l Park website under Plan Your Visit > Current Conditions > Fire Danger. It won't let me post a link but I would check the site again leading up to your trip. You can always rent a tabletop gas grill from REI if fires become an issue.
