This is a really great hike to cool 11,000-foot twin peaks. If you're an avid hiker and acclimated, it's a moderate challenge. I wouldn't recommended it for casual hikers. It's a fairly gradual climb… Full review by phvi2617

My wife and I did the Twin Sisters Peaks Trail on a morning that we couldn't get on the Ouzel Falls Trail. I knew that this hike was more difficult but figured we could turn around if we got too tir… Full review by OutsiderJoe

We have had record snowfall this year. But you will most likely have no problem with late May until you reach the “transition zone” just below treeline where snow drifts could cross the trail. This is no problem if you are wearing reasonably water resistant hiking shoes or boots. If you are wearing sandals or lightweight gym shoes you will have a tough, tough time of it. If you do push through the drifts watch out not to lose the trail and know your feet will get wet. But by the time you get to treeline the snow drifts will be gone and the views are totally worth it. I recommend trekking poles b/c this is a rough trail most of the way. Also please take a small pack with all the appropriate “10 essentials “, you don’t want to be unprepared up there.
