Does anyone know if utensils / dinnerware are available in the bunk cabins? We are visiting in July and are flying from England so will have limited camping equipment available. I intend to take a small stove and tin mug and plan on stopping in Athens to buy camping gas, bed linens, charcoal and firewood. Will we also need to buy cutlery, plates, bowls, cups etc. or are they available at the cabin?
A:
I don't know for sure, but I would assume they WILL NOT have kitchen utensils supplied in the cabins. If I were you, I would purchase disposable cutlery, plates, etc. when you stop in …

Horse trailer parking is coming in from our Hwy 72 entrance, coming in from Railroad Avenue. That's the entrance for our Equestrian campers who can't cross the bridge with their trailers. The starting point for the horse trails is in the Equestrian campgrounds themselves, obviously marked for customer convenience. A daily or annual park pass will be required, $5 for a daily pass and $50 for an Annual pass, good to the end of the month a year from your purchase date. A daily rider's fee is also required which is $12 per rider. You can either come to the visitors center and pay or put your money in the collection envelopes in the green collection box in the Equestrian park. We offer senior and military/veteran discounts to qualifying customers. The age for senior discounts is 62 years or older. We offer Friends of Ga State Parks membership packages, which you look into on the Georgia State Parks website. We also offer Annual riding passes for our horse riders that are only good at Watson's Mill Bridge State Park.
