This is an incredibly lovely wetlands park with a long stretch of boardwalks. The boardwalks are clean, well-maintained, and the park itself is a great stretch of wetlands and forest.Full review by JasonHennig

The West Hylebos Wetlands Parks features a large trail network through 120 acres of unique old growth forest and wetlands in the heart of Federal Way. These wetlands are equal parts wildlife refuge, ecological and hydrological conservatory, nature trail, and pure natural wonder. One of the last remaining bogs in South King County, the Hylebos wetlands is easy to reach explore. I do not believe pets are allowed as the trail is all on boardwalk because it is a wet lands. The rules for this park are posted at the parking lot on South 348th. I have never seen pets there. Hope that helps. It is a wonderful walk. Just found out -It's worth noting that there is a STRICT no dog policy for this small trail network, this includes dogs on a leash.
