Columbus Zoo and Aquarium in Delaware County is a non-profit zoo located by the O'Shaughnessy Reservoir on the Scioto River and is home to over seven thousand creatures from 800 species. Pheasant Aviary, Muntjac, Parakeets, Asiatic Elephants and Rhinos from Asia Quest, Kiwi, Kangaroo, Lorikeet, Komodo Dragon, Orangutan, Pygmy Slow Loris, Koala Bear and White-headed Gibbons at Australia and the Islands, Leopards, Gorilla, okapi, Bonobo, Black and White Colobus and the insect-themed playground at Congo Expedition, Grant’s Zebra, Vervet Monkey, African Lion, Ostrich, Giraffe, Gazelle and Cheetah at Heart Of Africa, Polar Bear, Cougar, Bobcat, Otter and Bald Eagle at North America, Manatee, Aladabra Tortoise, Penguins and Madagascar Tree Boa at Aquarium Shores are some of the attractions of Columbus Zoo.
