Craigleith Provincial Park was established in 1967 by Ontario Parks. It is a recreation-class Provincial Park created to help preserve historic oil shale beach.

We had a breeze all the time we were there. There were a few bugs but that was around 8-9 pm at night. There were a few flies BUT nothing too major.
