Overall, the Superdome is a good sports venue, with some strengths...and weaknesses. The biggest weakness was that the concourses were tight and uninviting, and difficult to navigate. There were … Full review by Matt S

Very easy to walk to this stadium from all the surface parking and the garages. Plenty of restaurants and bars in the area as well. Only regret was that Seatgeek sold me a Lot 4 parking space a mon… Full review by Rita G

The higher up you go, the more you have to depend on the large television monitors. When you're buying tickets through Ticketmaster, you'll always know if your seats might have an obstructed view. Keep in mind that the only way you're going to get a good look at the performers in person is to buy floor seats near the stage. Pricey, but it can be worth it depending on the importance of the performer to you personally. I always bought nosebleed seats until the Stones concert last July. For that performance, I bought up-front-close-to-stage floor seats. Cost a lot, but it was worth it to me to be 20 feet from Mick Jagger and to be able to see the wrinkles on his face without having to use binoculars.
Q:
Can someone give me some feedback on section 545 row 1? Is the view limited because of the metal bar in from of it?
A:
No problem, we were there for a graduation recently and the first row seats and all seats were great views.
Q:
Can you take your own alcohol/drinks into the dome?

NO! They will not even allow you to proceed through the metal detectors with any drink, so either drink it up, or trash it. Also, I saw a review by some newbie who had attended rock concerts in other states leave a ballistic review about the security people at the dome. She tried to take in a handbag that did not meet the NFL's policy. YOU CANNOT BRING LARGE PURSES TO THE DOME. They should be clear and no larger than 12 inchestall and wide.
