The first is the Big Cheez-It Tostada, which is made up of a large Cheez-It cracker 16 times the size of a regular one.

The former Duffy Street Seafood Shack, also known as “Original Seafood Shack,” located on the corner of Sea Mountain Hwy and Duffy Street is looking for a new owner to take over the location on a “turn key” lease opportunity.

Scientists and engineers have been able to hold off the invasive fish and now they are taking a new step in the fight — a new name. This week, the Illinois Department of Natural Resources plans to introduce a new name for the fish that they hope will sound more appetizing and encourage people to target the fish for consumption.

Potters from the Associated Artists of Southport are currently exhibiting their newest wares in the Wine Goblet Challenge at Franklin Square Gallery. The mug challenge began during COVID in 2020 as a way to encourage and challenge the artists to try something different and new. Each goblet is unique in size, shape, and design.
