Wedding Exhibit on display at Stillwater History Museum at the Sheerar

Story provided by Stillwater History Museum at the Sheerar. Something old, something new: 100 years of wedding dresses is on display now through August. Wedding dresses, photographs, accessories and more tell the story of 18 Stillwater families. One bride (Wilma White) was pushed around town in a wheelbarrow on her wedding day (a Cushing tradition); one groom (Follow Venn) was in Pearl Harbor on December 7, 1945.
